A family-run business built on trust

Mark Davies spent twelve years working for British Gas before deciding he'd had enough of corporate schedules and rushed appointments. He wanted to run things the way he believed they should be run — with time to do the job right and a relationship with every customer.

He bought a second-hand van, printed some flyers, and started knocking on doors in Caversham. The first year was lean. But word spread — not because of marketing, but because when Mark said he'd be there at 9am, he was there at 9am. When he quoted £280, the invoice was £280.

Fifteen years on, we've grown to a team of six engineers covering the whole Thames Valley. We've installed over 1,200 boilers, fixed thousands of leaks, and fitted more bathrooms than we can count. But we still answer the phone ourselves, and Mark still does the odd job when someone needs the boss.
